This update significantly improves team collaboration by introducing mentions, linked references, task assignment, and time tracking, while enhancing navigation, Drive usability, and notifications to create a faster, more connected and reliable team workspace.
Mentions & Linked References
- Expanded mentions inside team board items, so teammates can be tagged directly in notes, tasks, and todos.
- Added linked #references inside content, making it possible to reference tasks, todos, notes, links, and even Drive files from within another item.
- Linked mentions and references stay clickable in item details, so users can jump directly to the related work.
Task Assignment
- Added task assignment for team boards, so a task can now be assigned to a specific teammate.
- Team members can be assigned when creating a task and updated later from the task details.
- Assignee information is now shown more clearly across the workspace to make ownership easier to understand.
Time Tracking in Team Kanban
- Team members can now log time spent when marking a task as completed in Kanban.
- Logged time can also be edited later, making it easier to keep work tracking accurate.
Team Drive Improvements
- Added search in the Team Drive area to find files and folders faster.
- Added direct file download support from Team Drive.
- Improved the Drive browsing experience with clearer list/grid views and better empty and no-results states.
Team Board Navigation & Usability
- Improved mobile navigation for team boards with faster access to board view, Kanban, members, Drive, and AI.
- Refined item detail interactions so content is easier to read, edit, and navigate without losing context.
